Mapping London Mapping me

Final

I was struggling with this project. In part because I did not know how I was going to incorporate my maps into projects that I wanted to do. I wanted to do something with people I met while being in london. Maybe connecting lines to people I have met and what art projects I have done. I eventually came up with the idea to do a video with snippets of videos and photos I took and then overlay a map over it. At first I wanted to do the area of the map, a title and then the videos associated. However I thought having the map appear then dissolve into the other videos seemed cooler. As I watched it, something seemed off. I figured out that it was more beneficial if I showed the montage of videos as the map slowly appeared then the title could come in. I thought that was cleaner. I love how its little maneuvers that you do in an edit make a difference.
